It hasn't been the second day of college life and I'm already eating ramen!

....not because I can't cook, but because I'm too lazy and paranoid of going out at night. Plus I like Top Ramen :D>

Well, this is my first official post from Uni and I'm having a lot of fun here! I've made a bunch of friends that have the same interests as I do (you know, languages, asian dramas, anime). So a little rundown of what I've been up to:

21st
Woke up major early after only three hours of sleep, drove up to Washington with my family, put everything in the car, and slept most of the way up there. When we got to Washington, we were directed to go to a parking lot to wait for a while. The purpose of that was so that the cars were organized in a waiting list to get to the actual parking lot to unpack stuff. Well, we got there and managed to get everything up in one go (they had a really handy huge cart to help us). My room is really nice, I have a lot of space plus a great view of the bay area! My roommate is a person named Lyrva and she hasn't moved in yet. I'm not sure if I will even have a roommate, because most kids have already moved in... Well, while I was unpacking and stuff, we couldn't figure out where my Dad went, he had to repark the car to get it out of the way and got lost looking for my dorm. He managed to find Husky stadium though, not sure how that works... after that we went to Chinatown to grab dinner before my parents dropped me off, it was cute how they didn't really want to leave me. Aww ♥

After that, I hung out with my friend Lisa who I bumped into yesterday. We then were roped into a dorm meeting to hang out and meet people. I met a couple of other kids who were cool. Afterwards, Lisa's friend Hannah invited us to go watch Sassy Girl so we did that. Hannah and Hunter (a dude who was present in the room) were really cool. I was able to act normally around them (which means I was really weird, lol). Sassy Girl is a funny KDrama, but we were really confused on what was going on. We only had Chinese Subs and none of us knew Korean. Lisa tried to translate the Chinese but was horribly confused by how fast they spoke. But we had fun anyways. Then we wandered out to drop off Hunter at his bus stop and I went to bed. I didn't know where we were going in the dark, so I assumed they did. Hannah mentioned we should hang out more so I'm excited :D

22nd
Well, Lisa and I hung out again and we added Jing into the group. Jing just moved in so we had a grand tour of her room, and she had a grand tour of ours. At first we were horribly lost trying to figure out where Jing was (she apparently just moved in...) but we found her. Afterwards we went to the University bookstore to buy textbooks and I found out I didn't need to get my $109.50+ Econ book, apparently Lisa took the class as a Summer student, so I could bum it off her. After we went to the bookstore, we took the bus downtown to check out shopping centers. There we visited American Eagle, a store that was a fusion of the Dollar Tree and Kinokuniya, and various little shops that Jing wanted to go into. In the evening, I went with Hannah and Lisa to a Standup comedy show (VH1's best week ever). I think I made another friend there! There was a girl standing in line next to me playing a pokemon game so I thought it cool to randomly talk to her. I think her name was Hanako? Or something.

The comedy show was okay. I thought that some of the jokes made by the ladies were a bit crude but oh well. What can I do. ^^ I was really close to winning the raffled TV prize! Too bad I didn't :(

So yeah, I feel so tired today, I hiked around campus several times today so I probably traveled two or three some miles. Ugh. I'm liking college life, but I do like some peace and quiet sometimes...there are too many parties and social events...

life, day, college
