It's amazing where I'm standing..
So! It's Valentine's Day! Yay! I'm a little cynical about this day actually. Why do people have to go all out to show their love on one specific day when everybody else is doing it? Why not do it through-out the year without getting to the point of spoiling that person? Oh well. It's still kind of sweet to see people around you doing the whole bit. I'm sure my brother and his girlfriend are going to do some super special drinking tonight, and well.. actually my parents are doing stuff too XP. It's wierd too! My mom never really does anything special, or my dad either, but my Dad bought her this pretty necklace earlier in the month. And today he asked her to make him breakfast for Valentine's Day, haha. It's so wierd, a guy like him asking for something V-Day specific. She's also making him a heart shaped cake..
Aaaaand you guys know where I'm at. So yeah. Kinda sucks to see it all go on around you, but I'm the idiot that fell in love with their only companion that happens to be a close friend, 'doh!
Anyways, let's see... Still enjoying domesticated tasks, I'll make some lazy bum happy in the future since I enjoy doing householdy stuffs! I really need to catch onto those miracle cleaning solutions though, you know? Like getting x stain off of x article of clothing in like 5 minutes or something without throwing it in the laundry. Man that'd be great.
As far as college goes, well. The whole Nurse Anesthetist is still in my mind, but if I can unlazy myself up, I think I'd make an okay journalist. You guys have seen how long my posts and entries get when I'm really passionate about something. I don't think I'd pursue a gaming type thing though since the industry sucks, but.. I really do wonder. Maybe just a general grunt Nurse will be fine for me. I can relocate easily with that since hospitals always need nurses right? We'll see! I know I wanna move around though, I just need a little help with that though, hm..
So, for some random odd reason, even though I don't like LJ Communities and stuff, reading the
Cupid's Drop Box Community is just.. really sappy. But I just spent like an hour multitasking and going through those notes.. wow. I didn't care to leave one for Mr. Obvious, since, well c'mon that's creepy! But, this one may as well have been written by me. .. Even the comment that said they could have written it too, initials and all actually (it's not mine) haha. It's nice reading these because for the most part, these thoughts are true and (depending on the person) pure. You can post there anonymously and be as vague as you want. And when you get to express your feelings without fear of the repercussions, it's always geniune, since you're not hiding anything, or limiting anything. The person you're leaving the note for probably might not see it anyways, so if given the chance to leave a note for them that they'll never see, you'd probably take it so that you can express yourself and just..let it out right? That's the nice feeling I like getting from Valentine's Day. Not the "DO THE MOST BIGGEST ROMANTIC THING EVER" part, but.. expressing your love at all, and to hear how much someone appreciates it, the appreciation part is the bestest part..
