Back in school

In addition to forgetting my hats, scarves, and winter boots, I left my naproxen back in Parma. So of course, I have cramps right now (because my uterus keeps getting confused) and I got a headache last night as soon as I started sobering up last night. I love drinking white wine, but if I drink more than two glasses at a time the crash down is painful as hell.

(Speaking of last night, I'm sorry if I got a little anti-social. I've found that more and more often when I'm in large social gatherings, I end reading because it's easier that trying to interact while I'm drunk. That's the third time I've done that; next time I do, grab the book out of my hands and rap me on the head.)

My two classes for the semester seem to be intense, but interesting. Children and the Holocaust and History of Japan; Laura and Stephanie are in the first with me (me and roomie are sharing books) and Amelia is taking the second with me.

In other news, I received a sudden disappointment last night while looking at Soulgeek.com, a dating site for people with geekish tendency. There was a guy who's profile I had come across: cute, lives nearby, and seems to be good sort of match. Unfortunately, I can't even message the guy without subscribing to the UberMembership: $10 a month. Apparently I can accept messages and respond to those sent to me, but I can't contact anyone else without paying money.
I'm so disappointed. I'd love to try and contact this guy, somehow but I can't.
