I checked Lucerin Blue's myspace page to see if they have posted anything in the last six months, and sure enough, they put up two songs from a demo which both would have been on the new cd had it ever made it past production. I had heard these songs many times, and I had actually been there when they came up with the riff for Haunt Me To Sleep in practice... and memories came flooding back. I miss them. I haven't even talked to Justin or Nathan since they "broke up", and I haven't had a chance to hang out with Ryan since the Skylight show in Guelph. I miss getting calls at the last minute telling me there's a show and then arranging to go and arriving an hour later at a show in a city that is 45 minutes away just in time to catch the first song. I miss the shows, especially in the old days with Paul on bass. I miss riding around in Moby Dick, which always reeked of sweat and cigar smoke and who knows what else. The music is so good, and even though I watched them falling apart, I don't remember the bad shows very well, only the good ones.
