That time of year again

I watched Love Actually the other night. I was feelin' kind of in "that" kind of mood. Tried to make Jacob watch it with me. He chuckled a few times before promptly falling asleep.

Morrey K. (my stats prof) showed intense interest in my relationship with IKEA. He goes "yeah, my wife's family lives in Europe and they've got, you know, a lot more money than you or I, and they have everything that is everything that's IKEA. Much different from here where their stuff is, you know, cheap." No matter how I told him that the stuff is the same no matter what country you go to, that no matter where you are you can buy a Jules chair or Integral hinges for your door (042.613.00, duh) or a Billy effing bookcase, the more he denied it. But he's never been to the one here. Of course. And this kid with us was flat out saying that the company lies to me, that they aren't really that charitable or good for the environment. I was like.. Ingvar, duh.

HEY-O so Fabian got a job at Bayer!! That is so unbelievable. I'm so effing proud of him. I wonder what he'll be doing.

And then there comes the issue of "that" time of year. Exams can lick my scrotum. That's what they're planning on doing, and I'm just like... well, whatev. It's a "you lick mine or I lick yours" kind of world out there anyways.

And that's all.
