hi LJ, long time no see.

this has been my busiest semester yet, and my lack of internet attention is enough to attest to it. classes are going good for the most part. linear algebra is an A so far, but we've only had one test. the teacher is absolutely horrible and i'd stop going to class if attendence wasn't part of the grade. my english class is a piece of cake and is an A so far as well. my C/Software Tools class is a little iffy. my last program didn't run for the TA, but after some cleared up confusion he's supposed to regrade it. we had a test in there last monday, but i don't have much faith that i did good on it. my data structures class isn't going that bad. 98 on my first program and a 69 on the first test (which should be abount a C+). i'm hoping i get an 85 on the program i'm working on now...because it's over a week late. i'm getting to work on it after this entry.

i've started going to campus crusade meetings again. i've missed the past few because of too much work, but i'm making more of a effort to stay in touch with my religion. i'm hoping that it will lift my spirits as much as it did my first two years of school.

i'm a c-store supervisor now, but only work 2 days a week, which is sometimes too much because both are very long shifts on monday and friday. i'm kinda sick of working there and i hope i can get an internship or co-op for the spring or summer. my resume is out there, i'm just hoping someone will bite.

quick gaming related paragraph: after i sent off my 360 the first time, it was returned but it wouldn't read ANY discs. so i had to ship it BACK and wait another two weeks, but the second time worked out. microsoft acknoledged that their first batch of systems were crap, so i'm getting a refund on my repairs :D this morning i waited outside of an EB Games and got a Wii preorder, #3 in line. there were 15 to go around. i don't know if it'll sell out, but i'm covering my bases just in case because i REALLY want to play this thing. final fantasy 12, gears of war, and legend of zelda in less than a month's time...november is going to be hot.

right now it's currently fall break. everyone goes home, but i stay here at school. why? because home sucks. it's a 3 hour drive to sit around the whole time. i love my family, but they should have expected this when they moved us to that dull mountain town. they knew that was exactly what i was trying to move away from all my life, but comming to the point of being self-dependent (hell i'm pretty much supporting myself as it is right now) so i guess it's good for them if that's where they want to spend the rest of their lives at.

well, i'm going to go give my dad a call and work on my data structures program. if you read this, lemme know. just curious :)

oh, and the new evanescence album didn't rock my work, but it's growing on me. <3ev.
