Today I went on facebook happy with my day. I logged off feeling like someone reached down my throat pulled my intestine out my mouth and tied it around my neck. (Please excuse the Friends reference.)
A guy that I have like for the past year (I'll call him Bob) is what I should start this with. He is probably one the most attractive people I've met in my life. Since October we've been pretty good friends, and I've gotten to know him much better. It seems the brooding, scary guy everyone sees is actually a guy who loves naps and baby white tigers. :) Last month, we exchanged cell phone number, and having been texting since. But it seems I'm not what he's looking for.
I have also forgotten to mention that about a month ago when I routinely asked him what he was up to he replied with, "Talking to girls." When I asked who he said Me, and uhhh. Hmmm. We'll call the other one Penny. After informing me on how "hot" she was he told me how he wanted to date her. Wasn't THAT fun.
About 2 weeks passed and he never said anything else about other girls. In that time we had countless conversations, and he even complimented and said I looked good in my new dress. :)
1 week ago, one of his friends/ my male classmate told me about how Bob asked out ...(GOTTA THINK OF A NAME...) Eunice. Eunice is one of my least favorite people in the world. She's supposedly popular but evidently, at my school, popular means everyone hates you but hangs out with you because you wear the same three brands 90% of the other student wear. (That would be Aeropostle, American Eagle, and Hollister.) When my childhood friend (apparently "popular") informed me of this, she stated that I was the rare example of popular that people really did like. My god, my school is odd.
All of the girls hate Eunice, but all the guys think she's a babe apparently. Another of my friends informed me that Eunice said that she was most likely going to decline his offer. Phew.
I went 1 whole week full of the bliss that comes from not being worried and of being on spring break. As I stared at my white and blue computer screen browsing the most recent news, I cheerfully thought of my wonderful day in the midst of pastries, hats, and antiques.
My heart dropped about a mile when I saw Mildreds relationship status was changed from single to married to Bob.
