I Should Have Gotten the Spicy Tuna Roll and Other Stories From MSG
Come one and all! This will be an epic recap and picspam.
I got at MSG, probably at 6:59, and went through security and stuff. The guy checking my bag didn't appreciate my Pens jersey. Suck it dude.
I was in Section 101, which had quite a few Pens fans in it. Lots of "Let's Go Pens" and "Geno" chants. I saw a guy in another section with a Barrasso jersey. The nearly $10 burger I got was super juicy and squirted my jeans. I should have gotten the spicy tuna roll. MSG is really nice looking on the inside. I liked the little enclaves with the tables and chairs. I do regret not finding the kosher Mexican place.

I had such a fantastic time. Other thoughts- Sully and Kuni are super quick (like blink and you miss them), sassy Geno is sassy, Flower is perfect, and the dudes behind me really really hate TK. I was frankly surprised that after the fifth goal Biron wasn't pulled. Then I would have had to cheer against Whale goalie Chad Johnson. That would have been awkward.
I ended up getting back to New Haven at 1:20am. Late train was late with only a couple of drunks.
