Jack is really getting a kick out of watching Star Wars.
We started the first one (IV) on Wednesday night and he really liked it.
He fell asleep before the end though. We didn't get around to starting it until almost 7!
Last night we finished IV and started V. The kids got a little antsy about 45 minutes into the 2nd one so
we shut off and put them to bed. It was like 8:45 and that's late for them!
It's been fun watching them because it has been SO long since I've seen them and I don't even think
I've seen all of them all the way through. I don't recall.
We'll have to finish V tonight and watch VI on Sunday since I'm babysitting Simon and Vera Tomorrow night.
I have Henry and Lydia again today. I usually only have them on Tuesdays but for whatever reason I'm watching
them again today too.
Amy and the kids are coming over today too.
Keira's potty training has sort of derailed. It's frustrating but I try to just let it go and
remember that it'll happen when she's ready.
She was doing so awesome. Peeing in the potty 90% of the time and she had just started pooping on the potty
when she all of a sudden stopped using the potty all together :(
Now she'll pee in it once in a while and poop in it once in a while but is not consistent with it at all.
And here I thought we were on the road to undies and no more pull-ups.
Oh well.
I got lots of new photos up in frames and now and I really like it!
Now I just need to load the rest of them into photo albums and then maybe in a few weeks order the next batch.
I also should take a peek at the kids' baby books and see how far behind those are. I'm not looking forward to that :P
Normally Friday would be my day to finish up my Zone cleaning for the week but that's not going to happen today so we'll see
what I can get done tomorrow.
I'll be watching Thomas (3) and Daniel (5 months) the next 3 Fridays so my zone cleaning is going to have to be spread out
during the week.
The good thing is that we just moved in so we haven't had a chance to dirty this place up too much yet so
I'm not real worried about not finishing. I'll be able to get them done for sure next time around.
About 2 weeks ago during the parent's meeting at Keira's ECFE class I asked if anyone was interested in doing Valentine's with the kids. The teacher said they don't usually do that and none of the other moms seemed interested at all. So I figured no biggie. Then last week one of the moms asked me if I brought Valentines. I said no because no one seemed interested in doing it. She never handed them out.
The teacher said that the following week we could bring them if we wanted. Again, no one said a thing or seemed even the least bit interested in doing it with their child. So this week at her class 5 of the kids handed out Valentines. I was like "really you guys? it was my idea and I didn't even bring any because no one seemed interested in doing it". Nice huh? Oh well. Keira didn't care that she didn't have any to hand out.
