I like that most of the internet's reaction to Jonny Lee Miller playing Holmes and Lucy Liu playing Watson has been hmm, that might have been interesting if it was reversed. Good call, internet. Good call.
I would probably try to watch it anyway, just because I am fond of JLM. As you probably know, he's in constant competition with Tommy Lee Jones for the title of my favorite Woodrow F. Call.
In other news, I was procrastinating writing two more steward training documents, and there was nothing else of interest on TV tonight, so I watched The Voice. Against my better judgement, because I still have this irrational urge to punch Carson Daly in the face.
Oh my god, you guys. I have always been fond of Adam Levine, but I swear to god, I sat there and watched him with hearts in my eyes the entire time. HE IS DELIGHTFUL.
I was barely tolerating Blake Shelton until my sister pointed out that he sounds like Boomhauer on King of the Hill, and she's right. At least now I laugh every time he opens his mouth.
And then Smash came on, and oh good lord. I want to smack most of the characters, but Christian Borle's HAIR. Goddamn, I cannot resist that much floppy hair. Okay, I also probably can't resist that many gay men working on a Broadway musical. I think I should have seen this coming.
