Dork!

While getting ready to go out for drinks & dinner with Steph, Alex and Libby, I was struck by the bizarre but irrisistable urge to put my hair in pigtails.
As I'm fixing them (while running out the door), I realized why. Because I am a total dork and did my hair like Vala's.
While waiting for the others to arrive, Libby and I had a very boisterous discussion about Stargate Atlantis & associated fandom/fanfiction in the subway station. It included me wailing "NOOOO! NOOOO!!! BIOLOGY! THINK OF THE BIOLOGY!" very loudly.
On my way back home, I went into Indigo because I need a new book. Wandered around the novels, travel section, and then invariably ended up in the science section.
I bought Hiding in the Mirror: The quest for alternate realities, from Plato to String Theory (by way of Alice in Wonderland, Einstein, and The Twilight Zone) by Lawrence M. Krauss.
I am so ridiculously excited to read it.
