Protesters @ Heath Ledger's Funeral
WTF???!?!
I am a Christian myself, and there is no way (AT ALL), that i agree with these so called, "Christians."
A fundamentalist church (Westbro Baptist Church); led by, i believe, Fred Phelps-Roper (some priest from kansas, or something!??!), is going to be protesting at the Academy Awards, and more shockingly - Heath Ledger's Funeral! All because Heath played a gay cowboy in 'Brokeback Mountain'.
OMG?!?! What absolute f*ckwits!!! It's not like Heath Ledger was actually GAY!!!
Funny, last i heard, Heath had previously had girlfriends, and had been married, in which they produced a child! (OMG - last time i checked, you had to be female to give birth! That must mean, *sarcastic gasp* he was with a woman? OMG - so not gay, in any way!)
All he did was portray a character, in a movie (fiction?!?!?) i might add, who was gay! Where is the harm in that?

Some of the signs read "God Hates Fags and Fag Enablers," "Heath in Hell" and "Mourn for Your Sins."
This, so-called-priest, Fred Phelps-Roper, says that it's a great thing that Heath is dead. What i gathered, from his interview with ACA, he was pretty much saying; "sucked in, your dead, and it's your fault for 'supporting' gays." Some 'priest' he is! *sneer*

IT WAS A MOVIE!!! - geeez! Hello People! - FICTION!!
A press release posted to the church's Web site, godhatesfags.com, reads: "Heath Ledger is now in Hell, and has begun serving his eternal sentence there -- besides which, nothing else about Heath Ledger is relevant or consequential."

What kind of preist/church (or even christians!) are they, to even think about interrupting a funeral, in that way?!?! (I don't understand how the thought could even cross their minds to do something so, anti-christian.)
I hope that this protesting is stopped, or at the least seriously controlled, at both the Academy Awards & Heath's funeral.
Let his family mourn the loss of their son, brother, cousin? IN PEACE. They have lost a loved family member, and should be given the right (and respect) to farewell him in peace!

and with the way things are here, i would seriously think that 'up there' is a much better place to be, in that you aren't 'down here' with these wankers...

I agree with them whole-heartedly.
"If I recall correctly, i am pretty sure that Jesus never once condemned those that had sinned againest him he acted only in grace and love. For example, the adultress woman who was being stoned he saved from death through his grace and mercy. It also clearly says that "All have Sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" Not some but All. Also, God doesn't look at one sin as worse than the other so in God's eyes homosexuality is the same a lying or stealing, which I know I have done. So basically my point is why is this church who claims to represent Christ in their endeavors going againest Him by judging and condeming someone who is no different than any of the rest of us. When it comes down to it we are all just Sinners in need of God's amazing grace. So get over yourselves and READ THE BIBLE for a change. He sent his only Son to die for us that we may have eternal life. When Jesus walked this earth he did so along side, thiefs, sluts, and liars. That would apply to all of us and I do not think God takes lightly how these people are acting. I pray for the Ledger family and anyone that needs it because that is what God expects of me as a christian. God is Love and his grace and mercy are unfathomable.
