snow
So as I spend another valentine's day on my own I think of the cold white world outside. We have finally gotten some snow here today.
The cold "sterility" of the outside world is how many people view their lives when single. I often miss the companionship of having someone to share my life with but I don't find my life to be cold. I have some very good friends who bring warmth and color into my life. I think the fact that I am happy with who I am helps me to be satisfied being single. I do hope to someday meet someone to share my life and have a family with but in the meantime I live a satisfying life.
This past Sunday we took a run up to Oswego county so my brother in law could rexperience what their snow was really like. We drove around to a bunch of different places so he could check it out. When ever there was a chance to get out and get in the snow it seemed like he couldn't get out fast enough. It was a real pleasure to see an adult experiencing snow for the first time and enjoying it so much.
