My grandfather had bleeding ulcers from all of his heart medications. They performed an endoscopy and cauterized 3 smallish holes in his throat. They nicked his esophagus on the way out, so that has to heal. The next issue will his heart. They took him off of his heart medications to deal with the ulcers. It's not out of his systems yet, but next week we'll have to deal with the heart complications. The doctor assure us that he will be okay, but I'm not comfortable believing them yet. I'm staying postitive, but I'm not going to be blindly naïve.
