I'm not going to go into the amount of work I have up for next week. Okay, I will talk a little about it.
For tuesday I have to have two full illustrations finished and mounted in absofrikkin' gorgeous color. Wednesday there is due a set of character designs, one space hero(ine) and one space monster (there must be tentacles involved) and tight pencils of a full comic page featuring said characters in a script that the prof gave us. Yar, I stops now because I am starting to stress myself out a wittle too much. ^__^;;;
On the upside, I went to Target and picked up a set of those 'clickable' shelving units. It's the white plastic one that has full sides and whatnot. Unfortunately it's a wee bit smaller than the wire-frame shelving unit, so there is no mix and matching of pieces (i tried). Also grabbed a set of cheap little drawers to go in said shelving unit... They are way darling. Anyone that knows me will not be shocked by the fact that they are pink. Srsly, you can't get much cuter than that. Though one of the main things about my new purchases that was important is the fact that they can easily fold down to go into storage.
Tomorrow I should get my laundry done; currently the laundry is conspiring to eat my closet, this is not a good thing.
My new weiss wallscroll also arrived. It's the one where Yohji draped across a chair with a 'come-hither' expression, Ken and Omi are looking darling, and Aya seems like he isn't too keen on even being in the image.
A care package from Nancyskitties arrived today. Which was cool. It was packed with random things, a good portion of them edible, and some really neat fabric. Why was I sent a care-package? Because back when I was returning to MCAD from Puerto Rico I was really wigging out, and she asked if I ever got care-packages from home... my response to that was that I normally am the person SENDING the packages since there are things up here that aren't down there. Yeah, I have to send her something really nice in return. ^^;;;
Tomorrow I also get to watch the movie Top Hat for my history class. Monday the class will discuss this fine film. Sometime this week I have to watch Sweeney Tod for the same class. In case anyone is wondering about the movie viewing, I'm taking History of the Hollywood Musical. So far it's uber cool... not sure what to make of the way the grades are going to be done; kind of nerve wracking to only have two papers and two exams each worth 25% of the overall grade. This means there is pleeeeeeeeenty room to mess up completely.
Shoot, can't forget the artist of the week, or to read this week's chapters in my textbooks to keep up in class.
ZOMG! Glych! Can you believe that the Scott McCloud book you gave me is the text book for Comic Art?!? *boggles*
Before I forget again... MICHELANGELUS!!!!!!!!!!! YOU NEED TO CALL MY MOM!!!!! NOW PLEASE! THIS SHOULD BE IMPORTANT TO YOU... THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR MONEY. CALL HER. KTNX.
