It's been awhile since I've bought a CD, and a few days ago I decided I needed more music, since my playlist was starting to get a little stale. Being without broadband internet for the time being (God, I hope the DSL equipment arrives soon) meant downloading music was pretty much out of the question, so I hit up Amazon. The result is that my bank account is now sixty-six dollars and ninety-one cents lighter, and I am now in possession of the following:

Sonata Arctica - Winterheart's Guild
Sonata Arctica - Silence
Ayreon - The Human Equation (Limited Edition with Bonus DVD)

Thus far, I am in absolutely no way displeased with this purchase.

In other news, the first step in ridding ourselves of Charter is complete--we got Dish Network set up for our TV today. It's pretty neat, because our box doubles as a DVR, and it controls two TVs separately from the one box, so we have DVR on both of our TVs now.

The DSL equipment is supposed to arrive before this weekend, so hopefully that'll get here tomorrow (please God, don't make me go through another weekend without broadband ;_;), then we can call Charter and tell them to stuff it. Man, that's going to be satisfying. My mom added it up today, and figured that in the last month-ish that we've been having these problems with Charter, we've been 25 days without cable internet (with a week of uptime inside of that). That's just fucking rediculous. All I know is, if they try to bill us for any of those days we didn't have access, there'll be hell to pay.
