Same here dude but after shelling out money for the wireless combo, I just went back to the ole fashion corded stuff once my mouse went the way of the Dodo. Cordless is great... but it just seems it needs a bit more imporvement on it before I give it a go again.

And, yes, I do like the MX1000 but, damn, thats a lot of money! :)

Until now, I haven't had a single problem with my MX700. I've had it for like... a year and a half, so it lasted a pretty decent amount of time. I'm so used to using a cordless mouse, I don't think I could go back to a corded one now.

If I can get it to last that long, I might wait and see if I can get an MX1000 for my birthday later this month.
