There's something to be said for new places, faces and challenges. There's also something to the old saying, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you're happy where you're at, then I say to stay put. If its space you're wanting, work on getting a new apartment, or renting or purchasing a home. On the other hand, if you're not happy, but rather content or even feeling like there's something missing, then I say think about moving. I don't know how far away the possible apartment with your friend is, but if it would require you to switch jobs, then I would definitely make sure that you have at the very least a strong lead on something before you commit. You don't want to leave a steady job to wind up with nothing. Overall, I think once you've found where you're supposed to be, you know. I used to love to move. I lived in three different states in a four year time frame. I got a thrill and excitement from moving. Heck, just the five years I've been in Ohio, I've lived in three different cities (and am now choosing a fourth). ( ... )

I think it'd be good for you to move out and have your own space again. I know of some of the concerns that you have with leaving your folks, but I really think it would help your relationship with your parents a lot.

Good for you for thinking it over!! Weigh the pros and cons of both situations and see what feels best for you. :) Just don't let fear hold you back! Sometimes change is scary, but good.
