Last night I decided to try something new so I baked ears of corn in their husks in the oven. Soaked them for awhile first so the husks wouldn't burn and then just thew them in for about 30 minutes at 425.
Pulled them out, peeled the husks back and the silk literally just fell right off. Rubbed some butter that I'd mixed with seasoning salt all over them and damn... I won't say it's the best corn I've ever tasted, but it's definitely the best corn I've ever made myself.
The most fun part was pulling the husks back and turning them into giant corn handles.
