The Seattle, WA-area furries group FurLife had some fun while benefiting a great cause on Saturday, June 11, participating in a charity kickball tournament that benefited The Humane Society, while also doubling as a food drive for Northwest Harvest Food Bank.

Team Donor Squad, who helped organize the event, took advantage of their opponent's "fursuit vision" and oversized paws to build a big lead, but the FurLifers never gave up and rallied down the stretch!

Thanks to Michael J. Fox for organizing and everyone that came out and beat the horrendous traffic that day to support a great cause.

Featuring in suit:  Kijani (as Kato), Frostbite, Ithabise, Fuzzypaws, Michael J. Fox (as Faygo), Axelroo (as Heyu Bunny), Lapine and Dolph.

And earlier this week, I hit a HUGE milestone as I got my 2,000th subscriber on my Youtube channel!  I hit 1,000 almost exactly a year ago on June 21, 2010 and I'm just speechless that I got to 2,000 this quickly.  Ever since I posted my first fursuiting video on Youtube a couple years ago, little did I know what a wild and crazy ride it would take me on, as I developed my editing skills and produced more and more videos from our outings that have brought smiles to the faces of furs and non-furs alike. I'm also very proud that my work has helped bring a number of people into the fandom, and in some cases it was a life-changing experience, while showing furries in a positive light in the public eye, which is very important to me.

It's my way of giving back to our wonderful community as it was others' videos that initially drew me into the furry fandom, of fursuiting at community events and conventions much like my friends and I do now.

Thank you to EVERYONE that has taken the time to watch any or all of my videos and subscribe, and be a fan of my work.  It really truly means a lot.  Now on to 3,000!

(BTW, #2,000 was Youtube user "juliespore" and I offered her a prize of either a personalized DVD of any five of my fursuit outing or convention videos, or an 8x10 print from any photo in my FA gallery)  She chose the print, and is currently deciding which one she wants :)  Here is what she had to say:

"I've always loved fursuiting, and seeing how you acted especially made me laugh. (I'm a) big fan of you guys, thumbs up for the furry awesomeness :) so i subscribed! Thanks lots :)"

Congratulations Julie!
