Been a very long time since I bowled a 300 game, which was in league back in February of 2008, while coming oh-so-close (11/12 strikes) at least 6 times since then...
Well last week I decided to go to
http://www.livejournal.com/update.bml a nice center, West Seattle Bowl, which just installed brand new lanes and had an all-you-can-bowl special for $10 which is a sweet deal and I borrowed my dad's tripod to record myself and work on my game a bit and test my different bowling balls for how they reacted.
I got in a groove using my Columbia 300 Wrath XP bowling ball and started stringing strikes...

Every shot in the 300 game is presented in order and is completely legitimate, the only cuts you see are to prevent you from waiting 15-20 seconds in between shots while I take a break or re-rack.

And here's a video featuring three of the balls I tested during the session: The MoRich Weapon of Mass Bias, Elite Eclipse, and the Columbia 300 Wrath XP I used for the 300 game. Also features a very embarrassing 5-7-10 split.

On Another note, Halloween was GREAT fun once again as the Furlife group, about 20-25 of us in total, headed up to Alderwood Mall for some Halloween fursuiting with the kids!
While a bunch of the suiters got a head start, I waited for Ithabise and got a bite to eat and then we suited up together. I was out there for well over an hour - and just like last year non-stop photo opportunities and high fives and just frivilous fun in suit.
I also brought a huge Fred Meyer Shopping bag with candy (which had all my leftovers from Issaquah AND two more bags) and once the kids saw teh Lion was giving out sweets I got mobbed! I ran out about half way through the outing.
But yeah we actually were able to get out of the food court this year (methinks visiting attendance was slightly less than last year overall) but once we got into the main mall (the big intersection right in the middle that goes off to the food court, it was like OMG BIG FUZZY AMINALS CAN I GET A PICTURE PWEEZ? all over again.
We stayed pretty much til closing and then a bunch of us headed over to
fabletheunicorn 's house for a night of movies, great food (thanks Fable!) and discussions about technology which I couldn't really add to because I was one of only 3 in the room that did NOT work in the tech industry.
Unfortunately our video dragon Mushu got tied up picking up a friend so he was only able to capture the "tail" end of our fursuit outing on camera but I'll work on that tonight and have that up by tomorrow.
Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween!
