So it looks like Ryan and I will be getting an apartment together after all. With utilities it'll probably end up costing $300 a month :-/, so I'm going to start looking for more flatmates to share the rent with and in the meantime get used to wearing coats indoors, not washing myself (thank God for the prep time I had in Russia :-)!), and reading in the dark like I used to when I was a kid (sorry Papa and Mum - I didn't stop just 'cause you guys turned out the lights :-) ).
On other fronts, still no word from Sears and I just went through my pay stubs from Meijer. Suffice it to say that both are discouraging, though the latter is more so than the former. (Not sure why - Sears would probably be a much nicer place to work than Meijer is. I just know people there and no one at Sears.)
As the title notes, today was the opening of "The Office" for this fall. We had a party over at the Browns and it was much fun - pretty much all the off-campus Orthodox people in Spring Arbor. Oh, and all the on-campus people too - Chris made an appearance at the beginning :-).
We leave for Ohio and the half-marathon tomorrow, so I'll be pretty much incommunicado till Sunday night or Monday. Or later, depending on how much Meijer shifts me next week and whether I interview for another potential job on Monday or not. Anyways, ttfn...
