What a hot day it's been...

"I don't believe in organized religion; I'm Orthodox." Not the first time I've read that, but it's quite funny (and true for that matter). For the rest go to Khouria Frederica's website (www.frederica.com) and read her latest.

I just got back from jogging. It was good to do again - I haven't run at all since the beginning of last week due to the wind-up for General Conference. God willing I'll run again tomorrow to check my time for 3 miles and then start in training with Ignatius and Maria since they've just restarted their training after a week hiatus :-).

Not a bad day all in all. The marriage blessing was lovely, the weather was awful (in the 90s), I napped earlier this afternoon, and the evening was one pleasantly spent over at the Commune and cleaning up here at the Clines' (Brent arrives home late Monday night and Mary gets back Tuesday sometime).

I need to get away to think about the future. Hopefully after General Conference there'll be time to go to Holy Dormition before they get busy getting ready for the feast. If there isn't, then I guess I'm stuck :-/. It'll work out, but God alone knows how...
