Canada Day
Happy Dominion Day!
I just barely got that in under the wire :-). Truth be told today was quite awful, but it had some redeeming features. It was sad to be tired and unable to go to Canada as I'd hoped, and in the lands of the Rebellion and all of that :-), but it was good to talk to my parents and sister (I called them on the way back from Albion). The Canada Day party Xenia and the Browns threw for me was really sweet too - changed a pretty depressing day into an okay one :-).
Work is going okay. I'm getting to know a couple of people a little bit better and I'm thankful for that (it helps with the 'I'm not going anywhere - my life is effectively over' thoughts :-) ).
Busy week ahead, but more on that as it unfolds. Ciao for now...
