Another full day...

Christ is risen! Christus resurrexit!

Today as a decent day overall. It was my last day of sitting outside the dining commons promoting the cross-cultural trip to Russia and also the last day I need to go to my American Revolution class (from hereon out everything obligatory is to be turned in via the internet, not experienced in the body in a classroom). I took supper at the Fortress' with Papa and Bekah and that was very good, as was seeing them around 10:30pm and calling Mum in Addis.

I also spent some time at the Browns' and Keasters' (Deo gratias - I was feeling wiped and stressed and needed the time to relax), and on my way back to Ormston from talking with Mum I ran into Xenia, who was on the phone with Brittni and let me talk with her for a while. (I haven't been in touch with Brittni since the group left Moscow in mid-December.) This summer she'll be working at a camp I went to all the time when we lived in Washington, so she'll probably end up meeting a bunch of friends of mine there :-). Good times...

And now I need to write at least 2 pages (and preferrably 3 or 4) before I go to bed. Today is the National Day of Prayer and while I don't like the arbitrariness of the day's designation, I do think it's a wonderful to try to keep a day (any day) prayerfully (may God grant me to actually do it!). I'm hoping to pray through the whole of the Divine Office (of the Roman Rite) as its short, but still more full and structured than my daily prayers. May God strengthen and save us all!

I hope all is well with you! Only 9 days till graduation!
