Thank God it was Friday!
An okay day. My throat and voice improved as the day progressed, but during my second shift in the bookstore my ability to talk in an easily understandable way left me for about 10 minutes, so I got sent home early to sleep. No strep thank God, but it's bad enough and I'm going to be resting most of tomorrow (God granting). I was able to make it to the dinner at Shar's for the bookstore workers, and that was very good. (She gave me a spray for my throat that is really miraculous - I've got 15 minutes till I can use it again and I can barely wait :-).)
So, all in all not much. I just got a link for recordings from the recent conference at St. Andrew's House in Detroit (http://ancientfaithradio.com/faithoffathers.html) and am enjoying listening to a little of it while I prepare for bed. Vladica Nathaniel's speaking right now and it's good to hear his voice again (though it's better to hear it when he's celebrating the services).
