Less than 48 hours till takeoff!
I'm leaving in a day and a bit!!! I can't believe it. It's quite unreal. I've already started packing and planning how to extort free excess baggage weight out of Ethiopian Airlines and Alitalia :-). If only I was a girl, I could just flirt or cry and it would be okay...(Эта шутка.)
I tried to do my last major bit of shopping today (for wedding and birthday gifts), but the thrice-wretched place was closed, and the thrice-wretched guard who told me they would open at 4pm lied. Unless he meant 10am tomorrow, in which case he was a jerk and didn't clarify his response as he should have.
Anyways, hakuna matata. If I can't make it I'll have to do prostrations before a couple of people and find a new extra wedding gift for the happy couple - they'll never know, so hopefully they won't mind :-).
We're headed to Breezes and Arcobaleno tomorrow (for lunch and supper respectively), so as far as food goes tomorrow will be a fairly decent day :-). I've got my check-in bag packed, so all that's left is to cram all that I can into the carry-on I'm borrowing from my wonderful mum and organise the rest for my parents to bring in May.
