Sunday of the Prodigal Son
Father just sent out some links for some music I guess the choir's learning for Clean Week. They're making me super nostalgic - the one I'm loading right now is of Marie singing the Canon of St. Andrew. It's beautiful in and of itself, but hearing Marie singing it reminds me of so many choir practices at Holy Ascension, evenings at the Commune, Ben banging away on the piano working on some troparion or another set to Georgian music :-). Good times. I am truly blessed.
I forgot to spray the bathroom earlier :-/, so I'm going to have to put off taking a shower till tomorrow morning. I haven't seen the massive spider that dropped down next to me for a couple of days, but I know the monster's in there somewhere, waiting to spring. Ugh, just thinking about it makes me shiver! It MUST die...hm, I guess I could never be Jain :-/. Oh well, scratch off that religion...
