Pregnancies and Life

Everyone is pregnant! I feel like all of my married friends who don't already have kids are having them (Maria, Katya, Sarah Jo, and at least one other I can't remember at the moment). And let me tell you now, pregnancy is CRAZY. I thought periods were crazy, but pregnancy is crazier. I mean, wow! So much changes, you do so much for this little person inside of you! I watch Maria especially and the life/diet changes she's made and I'm just so impressed by her - I have enough trouble make those kinds of changes for myself, but to make them for someone who may turn out to be great or terrible? It is fundamentally different - the baby is you in a sense - but still...

Anyways, there you go, now I've written about pregnancy as a single guy :-). All that came from my thoughts about this week of fasting we have before Sts. Peter and Paul's day this Sunday - I was thinking about the grocery shopping I needed to do ('cause I got mostly non-fasting stuff when I shopped for this week on Friday) and then realized how much bigger the change is for my friends.

Your prayers as aleways! I'm terribly impatient. My dislike of the more enjoyable of my two jobs got rammed home earlier tonight too (though not in a huge way), and I'm just ready to go away again for longer than a four-day weekend :-/. Am I wrong to want just one morning where I can sleep in (or at least have time going from one job to another to sleep more than 5 or 6 hours) and not have to get up insanely early to work or some function or church? I probably am. Sigh. Oh well! I can't call in at the Call Center, but if I find out I don't depserately need every hour of work I can get perhaps I'll plan on going to Pennsylvania for the 4th of July and call in at Meijer for those three days.

Again, your prayers as always - I'm the worst of people and I don't always know it :-/.

Oh goodness! SO I just accidentally posted this before I was done, and the add that came up was pregnancy-oriented :-). It made me giggle...
