A/N: Well clearly this needed to happen at some point.
Digger smirked at himself in the mirror, it wasn’t perfect but he figured it was one of those things that you got better at the more you practised it. It had taken him a good half an hour to do, which he was completely not used to; normally it was ten to fifteen minutes but since that whole incident he hadn’t had to do anything like it in a while.
“Looks good right?” He turned to the cat sat on the bed and raised an eyebrow, his Princess was quite discerning when it came to his sartorial choices after all. She jumped off and wound her way around his ankles with a happy mewl, which he took to mean she approved and then he went to find Sam to show him what he had done. But not before a quick run back to the mirror for a last minute check that everything was absolutely perfect…well as perfect as it was going to get.
When he sauntered into the living room where Sam was watching TV he nearly burst into giggles at the way Sam actually stared at him, presumably completely shocked. Instead he struck a pose involving his hands on his hips and a cheeky smirk, waiting for some kind of reaction beyond complete shock.
“How did you manage that?” Sam asked with a hand wave towards Digger’s hair which although short, he had managed to slick it back in an attempt at a rock and roll quiff, he knew it wasn’t perfect but it was pretty damn good. Combined with his blue jeans, white t-shirt and black leather jacket with the collar turned up, he figured he’d done pretty well.
“Do you like it?” He asked cheekily, doing a little twirl and winking when he came back round.
“I love it.” Sam responded, still looking a little bit shocked. “You look so…different.”
Digger giggled. “Yeah well, I thought I’d try out your look for a change, not sure I’ll keep it though…”
“Why not? What’s wrong with it?” Sam asked him in mock offense.
“Not enough metal and the hair is quite…normal really.” Digger answered, he had come to accept the loss of his mad hair but that didn’t mean he didn’t miss it and was determined that as soon as it was long enough he was going to do something wild. Not a day went by that he didn’t consider dying it some mad colour but he resisted because he didn’t really want to bleach it or anything.
“Ah yes, not insane enough for you? Sorry about that.” Sam smirked. “It does suit you though, you look very hot.” He finished with a wink.
Digger chuckled and stripped off the jacket. “Well it is quite warm with this on…and this.” He murmured as he pulled the t-shirt over his head. Sam raised an eyebrow and reached to grab his arm, then pulled him down onto the sofa on top of him before engaging him in a very enthusiastic snogging session. By the time he let him go Digger’s hair was a complete mess but he had several hickeys and was very hard indeed and so found he couldn’t really bring himself to care.
