I did hold hope for our country even though George Bush had been elected twice despite it being made apparant he lied repeatedly just to start a war. No i'm not saying the soldiers aren't brave because they are, I just think that they should be home and not in a remote country just because some idiot said so.
Anyway, I was watching a show the other night and I saw the most absurd commercial that could ever have been made and in it, a cartoon child's walking down the street and they find a length of rope. I know that doesn't sound too bad, after all, they could be jump-roping right? Wrong! What the kid did was put the rope around his neck and tugged it until his head became a balloon. Clearly the FCC is not doing their job if a shoe commercial that features a kid decapitating himself is allowed to air in prime time when children could be watching.
