Arashi: Anan Q&A
Hi everyone, how are you? I hope all of you are doing fine! Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrated it! Happy holiday!!!
Here's a translation for the latest Anan issue!
Q1: What was the biggest event in your life that happened in Heisei Era?

Ohno
Q1 The biggest event is Heisei itself. If this era wasn’t called Heisei, I wonder what Hey! Say! JUMP would be.
Q3 I was intended to boil a hot water using my electric kettle, but I couldn’t push the botton.
Q4 Recently, my bed. All I did is lie down and watch some videos. Sometimes I ended up fall asleep and my phone is falls to my head.
Q6 The bag that I received from Sho-chan. It’s convenience because I can put anything in that bag. I use it every day.
Q7 I don’t want to go back to the past! It would be troublesome if I have to do everything from the beginning again. The present time is good.
Q8 The nikusuiin FujiTV studio dining room is good. When I was doing drama back then, I ate it every day. It has a lot of seasoning, I really like it.
Sho
Q1 When I joined Johnny's. I sent my aplication, and somehow ended up become Arashi. Being able to do this is a happiness.
Q2 I went to Osaka Toin's Brass Band Club during one of my segment in Arashi Ni Shiyagare. When we were filming that episode, they performed one of Arashi's song that haven't been released. I can feel the power from the music. I'm glad I keep doing this job.
Q4 My living room. My friends call my living room as "Bar Sakurai". No foods, drinks only (laugh). But it's comfortable. Everyone watch Football World Cup there.
Q8 Lamb. I season it myself when I do BBQ.
Q9 I think I never really stick to one specific side dish (laugh) but I guess it’s kimchi.
Q10 I don’t really have that kind of impression, there’s none! (laugh)
Aiba
Q1 When we became Arashi. I think that’s when some big changes happen in my life and became the turning point.
Q4 My sofa. I like to lean on it while I’m watching TV. Also my dinning table. I spend most of my time in my house in those to spaces.
Q5 It’s “Heisei Last _” after all. This is the first time I use it right (laugh)
Q7 The fun time during middle school! I think going back there for 1 week is enough (laugh). I also want to go to the future, like 100-200 years from now. The town and the people would probably look different right.
Q8 Uhm… I’m a bit confuse but… Steak!
Q9 Chocolate. It’ll fit with any type of sake. Either it’s just a plain chocolate or with wafer, I still like it. I don’t really eat that kind of fancy foods (laugh).
Nino
Q1 That would be the end of Heisei itself I think? I mean, I don’t really remember any celebration when the Showa was ended. So I think that’s already an event right.
Q4 In front of the monitor for my game.
Q6 Feeling (grinning). Don’t be such a greedy person. If it’s a precious gift… (smug face) it’s a feeling (laugh).
Q7 I never really think about that. I mean, if we could go back to the past, we won’t work hard in this present time right.
Q9 I rarely eat when I drink sake. Instead, I mostly eat snack when I watch TV.
Q11 well there’s nothing special to do. Probably something like stopping the alarm 10 minutes before leaving the house. Then I leave as it is (laugh).

Jun
Q1 Became Arashi. Nothing else.
Q2 I bought the antique watch that I really want. I didn’t really plan this but the receipt date is November 3rd. That was such a coincidence.
Q4 I’ve been watching TV while sitting in that big stretching mat I just bought recently. I feel like moving my body a bit instead just sitting in my usual sofa.
Q8 Steak. Not too rare but not too hard either. Then simply put salt and paper on it.
Q9 Salted raw pepper. I usually eat side dish when I drink whisky.
Q10 Ramen! That’ what I want to say but, that’s a bit… Previously I went with my friends [and eat ramen and drink sake], the next day wasn’t my day off so that was painful (laugh).
Q: What kind of thing that you want Arashi’s members to do?
Ohno
For Matsujun, I want him to cut his hair short (laugh). Well not as short as monk, but I still want him to cut his hair. For Sho-kun, I want him to treat me. Ramen or nabe would be good. For Nino, since outdoor activity would be impossible (laugh), let’s just do something at home, like doing calligraphy. For Aiba-chan, the snack that you gave me before was delicious, I want more!
Sho
For Ohno-san, I want to hear him sings a ballad song. Even just in karaoke (laugh). For Aiba-kun, I want to see him starring an action movie or drama, since he likes action movie. For Matsujun, I want him to be a navigator for some art show related on tv, since he likes art. For Nino, I want him to be narrator or doing a voice play. Something that related to voice. I want to hear it.
Aiba
This year, Leader got 2nd grade boat licence, so maybe he should take the 1st grade next. Matsumoto-san knows a lot of product for body care, I want to learn about it too. Please give me some good info! Sho-chan really like camouflage pattern but next time I want to see him wear all red tartan outfit (laugh). For Nino who always stays inside of his house, I want to do outdoor activity. Let’s do camp fire!
Nino
I think that would be good if our responses are exactly what the fans want to hear or see. That’s what I think. Since the other members already gave theirs, I guess there’s nothing left for me. I mean, they already answered it, that should be enough.
Jun
For Leader, please take the 1st grade boat licence, buy the boat, and take me on board. For Sho-kun, since he appears in CasaBRUTUS series, I want to hear him talks about architecture or art more. For Nino, before the concert I want to say “let’s do training together” but he’d just bitterly smile at me (laugh). For Aiba-kun, I want him to teach me a lot of things about sport.
