"Chunnie ah..." the smaller man was kneeling next to his boyfriend, hands in his lap and eyebrows furrowed at the sight in front of him.
"Yeah Su? What's wrong?" Yoochun asked.
"Um, well," the younger shuffled uncomfortably, "I don't want to do this." Yoochun stopped trying to wind the squirming worm onto the hook and turned to look at the man next to him.
Those innocent eyes contained tears that were brimming dangerously close to the edge. Yoochun sighed.
"But sweety, haven't you ever had fish before?"
"Yeah, but it wasn't like this." He pointed at the large pointy hook and shivered.
"Su, we have to catch fish in order eat fish."
"But...I...I..." Before he could finish, the tears finally overflowed and rolled down his face. Caught off guard, Yoochun pulled the other into his arms and used his finger to wipe up the newborn streams.
"Nevermind, it's ok." He ruffled the orange hair under his hand and gently kissed the forehead beneath it. "We'll do something else today then."
"I'm so sorry Chunnie." Junsu mumbled in between sobs and buried his face into the man's chest.
"No, Su." He slowly pulled back and tilted the other's face to look into his eyes. "Junsu, I love you. I will do anything you want me to." He leaned towards the pacified man in his arms and kissed his lips, soft but true.
Five minutes later, Junsu was nestled in Yoochun's arms as they sat in the back of the bus, because the prior insisted that public transportation was better for the environment. All signs of tears were gone by now and they were busy discussing their next destination.
"What should we do now?"
"Um, let me think..." Junsu's forehead creases slightly in concentration
"How about hunting?" Yoochun suggested with a evil glint in his eyes, and laughed at the other's horrified expression. "Just kidding, sorry." The gapping mouth turned into a pout and glared up at him. Yoochun just pulled him closer.
A few minutes passed. Trees, cars, buildings, and people were flashing by through the bus windows, a perfect summary of the busy Seoul city life. Yoochun used to wonder about the point of all this, the reason why we build a life and live through it, why we are born and in turn die. But that was a month ago, he no longer needed the answers to life after he met Junsu. This man in his arms, was the answer to everything.
Smiling, the dark haired man looked down at the angel in his arms, wondering if he had come up with any ideas yet, only to find the other's eyes closed and a sprinkle of drool escaping from the side of his mouth.
"Next stop, Pusang!" The bus driver announced in a deep voice over the intercome.
They were almost home, Yoochun looked at the sleeping man and then at the approaching bus stop. Taking a deep breath, he cracked his knuckles.
The bus door pulled open to reveal a tall, handsome man carrying a smaller, orange-haired man, who seemed to be fast asleep. Slowly, but steadily, Yoochun treaded down the neighborhood streets with his boyfriend in his arms.
As they neared Junsu's apartment building, the man stirred and opened his eyes to see an exhausted, but grinning, Yoochun looking down at him, sweat rolling down his temples.
"Thank god you're finally awake." Yoochun gently let him down and straightened his black shirt.
Junsu looked at the apartment and then at Yoochun, "You carried me all the way here from the bus stop?" His eyes were wide with shock.
"Yes, you sleepyhead."
"Chunnie, why didn't you wake me up?" He was mad at Yoochun for suffering for his sake, yet the love emmitting from the man's dopping smile made him want to cry.
"Because you were tired. Su, it's nothing." He smiled at the man staring at him and was surprised to see those sweet eyes once again sparkling with wetness. "Oh no, Su, please don't cry. What did I do now?"
"Yoochun, why...why, do you have to do so much for me?" He sobbed, "Can't you think about yourself for once?" Tears escaped once again and refilled the dry trails of earlier streams.
"Su, I love you, that's why." He hugged the sobbing man tightly and rubbed his cheeks against his. "You are the most important thing to me now."
"I know, Chunnie. But," Junsu looked up into the other's eyes, tears were running freely now, "I love you too."
