Last weekend, I happened to catch American Psycho 2 on TV. It was surprisingly awesome. I haven't seen or read the previous story yet, but it was more of a spin off than an actual sequel. Mila Kunis plays intense so well. Another thing I liked about it was that while she murdered loads of people, there was hardly any gore at all. I'm sure some people love to watch victims getting sliced and diced, competition's payin' the price but I'm not one of those people. I definitely recommend watching American Psycho if you enjoy unreliable narrators and twists that are actually surprising.
Today I finally watched The Underground Comedy Movie, which I rented from netflix months ago. It's a Vince Offer movie (Shamwow/SlapChop guy), and... it was mostly pretty boring. It was like one of the many AMV Hell clones out there: there were a few bits that made me laugh, but the rest was either done before or just not funny. Vince did play a character known as Bat Man (a man with a baseball bat), so that was an entertaining idea, even though this was made years before TF2. Probably my favorite bit in the whole thing was during the Godfather parody sketch. The Godmother was talking to Vince's character, who wanted a part in a movie. Godmother says she'll make the producer an offer he can't refuse. Vince's response: "A Vince Offer?" Yeah, they actually made that joke.
In other news, I actually got my essay done! I might not fail this class! Hooray!
