A new pet

For almost a week now, a praying mantis has been sitting on the inside of our screen door. It moves around a little every now and again, so I know it's still alive, but it just won't leave. I suppose it isn't bad to have it there. I just can't help feeling like it's going to jump right at me when I'm walking through the door one of these days ( Read more... )

Depends on your budget sir.. but since you mentioned the Dodge Caliber, I'll go along the lines of economy hatchbacks.

Out of those I'd definitely tell you to go for the Mazda 3, even though it may be the priciest, I can guarantee that it'll be much more rewarding to drive and have better luxuries than all the others.

The Pontiac Vibe is discontinued because of Pontiac going under, but it is basically a re-badged Toyota Matrix. So if you can find one, which will most likely be cheap because of Pontiac being gone, then that may just fit your bill.

This is missing the Volkswagen Rabbit though - but those usually end up being more costly in maintenance/repairs down the line

If you want to go smaller, check out the Honda Fit and the Toyota Yaris.

Still, I recommend the Mazda 3 the most just because it is the most driver-centric out of all those.
