After months of... stuff...
Months of more or less waiting for a job, I still don't have one.
BUT! I got a phone call this morning from immigration stating that a spot opened up for the full time French courses! So I decided to take it! I mean, I'll miss out on working full time, but still be around for when the flu pandemic hits in October! Pretty neato!
In other news, Suzie (Ben's brother's girlfriend, who is an osteopath), fixed my arm over the weekend, but it still hurts a lot. I've been trying to sleep on my back but I have such horrible nightmares when I do. Suzie said it was definitely something with my shoulder, but seemed more based on a muscle spasm than anything else. I was told not to lift anything for a couple days but promptly forgot this when we went to IKEA the other day and Ben had to yell at me when I got a ironing board from a bin. I also picked up Nerf, which wasn't a good idea.
That cat is getting HEAVY; and not from overeating. He runs up and down the stairs and just is flat muscle by this point, I think.
