Question on sewing my on Kigu behind the cut!

Im thinking about sewing my own Kigu this weekend for Halloween...but I'm not a very good sewer ><
So I will probably get a friend to help!

Are there any general patterns out there? Or did you most just use examples made from baggy sweatsuits/etc and just trial-and-error the hoods? Do you think a baggy pattern would be rather simple for an experienced sewer? (As in, a home ec major, not just someone who does it casually?)
