Chat tonight!

Hey guys, I have to run off to work, but just a reminder to not forget about BG chat tonight! There's no set time for it, it starts whenever someone opens up the room- just invite yourself to blindgo on AIM! (And of course feel free to use that nifty banner Pye made for us when it's opened.) I will hopefully be back around 10:30 my time, don't get ( Read more... )

I'm a chatty fellow and I'd like to join if I could, but unfortunately I'm on an iPad and can't quite figure this out. Does anyone know how to join AIM chatrooms on the iPad? I have the AIM app but I can't seem to find anything about rooms. (I haven't even used AIM on a desktop for quite a long time...)

I wonder if it's even possible at this time... I really need to get my netbook fixed.

If you're logged onto AIM, I could ping you an invite and see if that works?

We're having problems sending a direct invite and I fear we have no relevant technology! The other thing you could try is the direct link through one of the chat banners on an early post in this comm?

Room's open whenever - I'll be around the next 3 hours or so.

(Afraid I know very little about iPads - sorry)

Okay, I'm also a newbie who can't figure this out. I'm using AIM for Windows Versions 1.0.1.2 and when I type in blindgo in the "Start or find a chat" field, attempting to send a message just tells me the user is offline. Any tips? I'm sure there's a super obvious field I'm overlooking but I am completely prepared to tell the universe I'm an idiot if it gets me closer to BG chat <3

Sorry so late, just got home! *flail* Okay, so. If you're still interested, you can either click on the banner I'm going to put in below, or I can try and invite you. :D

Yeah, clicking the banner pops it up in AIM the same way as typing it in, but trying to talk just gets me a "this user is offline" thinger :(

After some trial and error and much patience on Ver's part, we figured out that the latest version of AIM does not support the group chat feature. However, there's an easy fix! They link the previous version of the software on the website, and that version DOES support group chat.

Install this version instead

Is anyone in chat? Because I'm showing that I'm the only one.... Which just doesn't seem right...
