"...if you don't need me I think I'll go..."

Yesterday, after I got off the phone with KK, I got super hyper and wanted to be around people. I tried calling my best friend from 7th grade since she told Xander last month to have me call her and I never did. She was at her boyfriend's house. So, I called another friend and she wasn't home. Then, I called Jessie and then I called Lyzz. Jess and I went up to Lyzz's house for a while and I ended up spending the night.

We "crashed" an Octoberfest party, but it was lame, so we went back to her house.

We fell asleep on an air mattress on her floor and her alarm clock went off at one point and she got up to turn it off. She climbed into her bed instead of coming back to the mattress. I was cold without her next to me, since for most of the night she was right up against my back. It was nice having a body next to me, even if it was completely platonic.

Save a Horse and the Cowboy, Ride a Kayla
Well I walk into the bar handing out one dollar bills and it thrills and it kills
Like the gleam on my ten speed's silver bell
And I buy the room a double round of Pepsi (yes, I know it doesn't quite go with the cadence or whatever, but meh so what)
And everybody's gettin' down and this town aint never gunna be the same

'Cause I get my walking shoes and I stroll into the city
I make a lot of noise 'cause the girls they are so pretty
Walking up and down 256th in my new blue comfy shoes
And the girls say, "save a horse, ride that Kayla"
Everybody says, "save the cowboy, ride a Kayla"

Well I don't give a dang about nothing
I'm just singing and trying to be bling-blinging
While the girls are drinking 12 oz down
And I wouldn't trades these shoes or my school bus ride for your Escalade or your freak parade
I'm the only Jane Wayne in this town

And I get my walking shoes and I stroll into the city
I make a lot of noise 'cause the girls they are so pretty
Walking up and down 256th in my new blue comfy shoes
And the girls say, "save a horse, ride that Kayla"
Everybody says, "save the cowboy, ride a Kayla"

Well I'm a thoroughbred that's what she said
On the back of my ten speed
While I was getting buzzed on helium on some back country road
We were flying high, fine as wine
Having ourselves a big and rich time
And I was going just about as far as she let me go
But her evaluation of my bad girl reputation
Had me begging for salvation all night long
So I took her to the singing frogs
Introduced her to my brown pet log
And sang her every decent song I could think of
And we made love

And I get my walking shoes and I stroll into the city
I make a lot of noise 'cause the girls they are so pretty
Walking up and down 256th in my new blue comfy shoes
And the girls say, "save a horse, ride that Kayla"
Everybody says, "save the cowboy, ride a Kayla"

What, what
Save a horse, ride a Kayla
Everybody says "save a cowboy ride a Kayla"
