And yet, when they don't actually help anyone, they still insist on more money. Even when it doesn't help. Even when it makes things worse. Even when nearly all of the money disappears due to waste, corruption, or artificial administrative/bureaucratic overhead. And they insist it makes them better people because THEY CARE. When I think of "liberals" and "other people's money", I'm mainly thinking of all the Great Society billions poured down the poopie chute in various 3rd World cesspools as Phillie, Chicago, Detroit, et cetera. Not to mention the billions spent on foreign aid that has been used unsuccessfully in exactly the same way for decades in... Africa, for example... to no effect beyond prolonging the misery - not a solution, and yet the routine progressive solution to it is "the same, but more!!!".
