(no subject)
Yeah yeah, I know, it's been a week since I went to Washington and only now am I making a post about it. I'm lazy, so sue me. Before I take my nap, I am going to write about it, that way I have some sort of record of it on livejournal.
Why am I even talking as if people read this? I think I'm going crazy!! But, that was bound to happen anyways, so I'll continue....
The trip to Washington D.C. for the NACIVT 9-man volleyball was awesome!! Patricia came with me a rode the crappy coach bus all the way there and back. It was a very optimistic crappy bus because it had a smiley face in the front and requested that everyone on the road should SMILE. Anyhoo, I was going to update about the trip, but when I tried to, I figured I was going to be here for a very long time just writing about it, so if anybody wants to know about it, just ask me. :D Maybe I'll post up pictures later about it so that I won't have to write so much.
As for school, the first week is now over. It actually wasn't so bad. I learned that I have to write about 6 essays this term alone and that I need to go to a writing center to learn how to write an essay all over again. Another thing I learned is that the NMC faculty takes their sweet ass time getting back to you. Very inefficient. I love how the Classics faculty is so prompt, and they're so busy too. I also learned that for my first major lab for Anthropology is....A TRIP TO THE ZOO!! I'm so excited!! Plus, if I do my research for my essay at the zoo, I get an extra 15 marks on it. How sweet is that?!?! And the labs don't even start until October, so I'm gonna have to wait a while. That's alright. :D
Anyhoo, I'm sick and sleepy, so I'm gonna take my nap now. G'night!!
