OK so some slightly bad news.
The Journey Circle was canceled because Lorelle got in an accident. She's OK, but dealing with crap.
No JC means no cake, so I'll have to make it for the next circle instead.
Also on the "Damnit!" front,
Apparently to take her vacation, mom has to use Leave without Pay.
She's been working overtime to get enough comp-time to go on her vacation...
Unfortunately, no one bothered to notify her that she had to use that time in June. So since June came and went, they just paid her for the over-time.
The kicker is, NOBODY told her this! So she didn't find out until she noticed extra money in her account and went WTF??
So basically to go on her trip now, she doesn't get paid for an entire pay-check, which is royally screwed!
She's still gonna take her vacation, but is very annoyed about loosing her leave time. I would be too!!
