Well....that blows.
I just lost my job. 
Everyone lost their job at Maggie Moos, the store is closing. Tonight.
The last couple months had been really slow, but Larry and Linda were being optimistic...but they didn't have a good relationship with the Mall, so when they had a bad couple of months, the mall wasn't forgiving at all, and said they had to go.
So now I'm getting ready to go run some errands so I can work on updating my portfolio, then tomorrow I'm going to go around and apply to every cake decorating position in this town.
*sigh* really bad timing here, I was having enough christmas fund woes as it is. I'm only about 75% done, and now I don't know what I'm gonna do for the rest. Pray that my last paycheck is decent I guess, which I doubt it will be 'cause I didn't have a lot of hours.
The slight silver lining is that Linda said they're having a closing party for the employees tonight, and once the owner from the gig harbor MM's takes what she wants, I can have any of the cake decorating supplies I want, including the air brush gun kit (which is expensive), and free icecream.
I'd rather have the job...but beggars and choosers and all that.
