Happy belated Thanksgiving, everyone!
I just hung around all weekend, pretty much. My Thanksgiving was...okay, to be honest. There were several mishaps but it was alright. I have a lot to be thankful for, and one dinner a year isn't really representative of that. Note to self: I am a depressing drunk. XD OTL
Had a crazy awesome Black Friday movie day with akichou , akichou , and brittanmoyashi though! We saw Tangled, and it was very adorable and probably one of my new favorite Disney movies. (totes going to cosplay Rapunzel with her 70 feet of blondness) It was pretty funny, because we were the only people there that weren't little kids or parents. Ha~ I really do think that we enjoyed it more than any of them, there were funny moments when we were all laughing hysterically and the rest of the theater was dead silent. Pfff. Then we hung around at the mall for a while and Annu and I bought cardigans and frozen yogurt (with mochi!). Yum. Naru slept over my house and we watched Merlin, The Road to El Dorado, and Star Trek and she molested me like usual. It was a really nice couple of days! <3
My mom and step-dad also took me out to their favorite English pub, and i had a really fun time watching British guys rage over soccer and eating french fries smothered in gravy. Diet what? My stepdad and brother and his friend almost got us kicked out of the fabric store at like nine at night afterwards....ahaha...
Anyway, I also attempted to work on cosplay this weekend and actually got stuff done! Izaya's jacket is almost finished, so that means my semi-secret plan to mess with anime club on Thursday is going to work out perfectly fffff. I bought a cheap jacket from Walmart and a yard of fur from Joann's. Not super hard, but shit I hate having black carpet at times like these. Though Vannah is supposed to show up as Shizuo to club which should make it even more fun, but I'm...fairly sure they won't allow the stop sign on campus~XD
