Alright, so Savannah and I went to Adam Lambert's Glam Nation tour for her birthday on Sunday. I had two extra tickets, but I couldn't sell them in time so my mom and step-dad went with us. ^__^ We left my house around 4:30, and picked her up and headed over to a barbecue place at the Hard Rock for dinner!
Vannah and Me (in my Ciel wig~)
Walking around at the little downtown shopping/dining area was very fun. I was wearing that lace shirt, a very short metallic yellow high waisted skirt, and my Ciel boot in addition to my Ciel wig. And Vannah had on that corset, so we got lots of catcalls LMAO.
Anyways, we got inside and each of us bought a shirt because they were so...gorgeous. Seriously, no other word for it. XD
There were so many amazing people there! The concertgoers were a mix of the South Florida LGBT community, lots of people over 70, and a few young kids. The latter of the two were taking pictures with those in the first who got dressed up. XD I didn't get any photos, but I did get lots of looks and whisperings about my hair haha. The older women loved Vannah's hat, which she made herself~
The concert started with Allison Iraheta, and she was really good! She wore all black and had this amazing jacket with a tulle bustle on the back, skinny jeans, and chunky boots. She did a bunch of songs from her album, and girl can sing! I hadn't heard any of her music actually, but I really liked most of the songs she did. Her last song though, was Heartbreaker, and she did a nice, solid job covering it.
There was a huge break inbetween Allison and Adam, so they played a lot of crowdpleasing songs that fit the audience. The best part had to be when a guy who was on the floor in front of the stage did the dance to Single Ladies when they played it. The whole ENTIRE venue was watching him, he was that good. And really hot as well~ Then they played Don't Stop Believin', and EVERYONE sang along and had this epic love moment. There was lots of epic love going around, actually.
Once the stage was set up, a remix of For Your Entertainment started playing, and the lights faded in and Adam was standing on stage in an outfit very similar to his If I Had You video - long pimpcoat, top hat, etc. He performed Voodoo and Down the Rabbit Hole before introducing himself, and it was so derpy! Just a "HEY GUYS!~" and a big smile. Ahh, I almost died right there.
He then went into Ring of Fire and Fever, and his dancers took the stage alone after that and performed some pretty sexy solos during it. He changed and appeared back on stage in a black coat, and did some slower songs. Whataya Want From Me and Aftermath were done with nothing but him and an acoustic guitar and they were so emotional and sdjfsdkfsdkfs I CRIED. The whole theme of the concert he said, was love, and some of the songs were about sex and others were about picking yourself back up after something bad happens, etc. My mom was just like "awwwwww~" I think Vannah and I almost cried from his adorable, omg.
After a few more songs he changed again, and this was the sexy part of the show. XD He came out in a black vest and the pants. The ones that are so tight and have glitter down the sides. XD The next songs he did were Sure Fire Winners, Music Again, Strut, and then he introduced his dancers and band. One of the dancers was doing his little solo after Adam told everyone his name, and he was just going for it so Adam called into the mic "YES KIKI, YES!" and we all just lost it. Yay, yes dance references. His bus drivers (aka a bunch of large pale guys in tropical shirts) stormed the stage and started dancing up on Adam in a circle. It was totally a surprise for him, but he laughed and told them that they were good dancers. XD Then, he did If I Had You~ He came out for a brief encore afterward, though! It was an old classic rock song I forget the name of
Overall, it was amazing. :)
