As of Monday, spring semester will start here..though it's still 28 degrees and there are varying amounts of black, snow-like remnants on the sidewalks. Wintersession was something to really just get through with the most condescending textiles teacher on earth (how you can be a bitch about the history of weave structure is beyond me), and a class that made you freak yourself.
Valentine's day went surprisingly well. Cat and I did a good deal of spring cleaning, promptly followed by guerilla laundry warfare. Evan and I had a phone date and watched a movie together. I basically told him if we can't be together next valentine's day I'm going to kick him violently...from a distance? The past few days have gone well, due mainly to the fact that I'm now on Lamotrigine.
I'm applying to the European Honors Program in Rome for a semester and have to figure out quickly what to write in the "Why I want to go" statement. I also found out that in order to mix oil paint properly you have to use unbleached beeswax as an additive. There goes 20g of Sinopia Turkish Red. *facepalm*
Also I start as a TA for a teen Foundation Drawing class in March. Yay money! Yay job!
