Flyering is to be outlawed in Brighton. I'm thinking of declaring RESISTANCE a religious event (bearing in mind that I have already been ordained), and so it will be excempt from this law.
It annoys me that a once a month independent club promoter is forced to apply for the same licence as the friday ad or argus free paper. It's fucking ridiculous. It states that we are allowed to flyer inside buildings or on public transport though. A licence for one designated person to flyer at any time after 8pm wil cost £275 a year, this is nothing for a large company with advertising income, but for us it is just not possible.
There is a questionaier to fill out, I'm off to voice my opinions I advise you all to do the same.
