20 million people dead in Africa from aids is a staggering number. There are still so many obstacle to overcome for many to get the help they need. It's a tragedy when there is diagnosis and treatment available. Very sad. Thanks for reminding us. ***hugs***
That was my feeling - here I am considering buying *yet* another work bag I don't really need, and 40 cents - FORTY CENTS - it's what costs to keep a person alive for one day.
40 cents is nothing is it to keep a person alive for a day. I already donate monthly to one charity and I'm always giving stuff to charity shops. The problem is there are so many charities worthy of donating to. I try to ring the changes and I buy fair trade. I try to remember just how blessed we are living here.

Thank you... :) It's something I feel quite strognly about, because we lucky in the Western world tend to forget how much pain and suffering there is in other parts of the world. God willing, we will have a generation of babies free of HIV and Aids soon.
