I would be happy to take livequotes. I've not participated there at all, but I've watched for ages, and I can do quite nicely at destroying removing those who troll or spam and moderating flamewars.

I'd take shards of arda if you liked. It's quiet now but I think there will always be a need for it, and I've advertised there enough times.

I'd be happy to take over shardsofarda. I believe mespt_quotes was actually created by xxshylockxx -- I'd be happy to handle the reorganization of that community, too, and see if Midge wants to take over or just archive it all.

It looks like you're getting a great response - but DO tell me if you end up with any stragglers that need a mod. I'll happily tuck another few under my wing if needful.

And those of you helping out by taking on a community? Let me know if you need a second mod for backup. I know college students can get overwhelmed at times, and there's vacations and such.... am tappable to back you up.

I'm a movieverse person. I currently run Kielle's old XMMFF archive (now at http://www.xmmff.com).

I'm not a member of the community (mainly because I use bookmarks for a lot of comms in order to keep my flist at a readable size), but I run the newbieguide community, and when I first began that comm we discussed doing an entry on common terms etc, but then decided that theglossary had that covered, so we didn't need to duplicate it. Now that it needs a new owner, I'd be happy to take it and make it a sister community to the Newbie Guide.
