"Don’t usually have to explain the whole you thing this soon in a relationship"

Love that line!
Great story.

Okay I can see how House would approve of Wilson having a back bone and not treating him like a child. I really can and I'm fine with that. (Still not the best way to handle it, but hey...) Great job with the writing, I'm having flash backs to the third season. I remember something about wings and them melting... *brushes it off* Any how you've earned your coffee, great job!

season three flashbacks can be traumatic--better be careful! ;-)

Ah yes those lead to feelings of hatred. Honestly I cannot remember why.... *smirks* I'm sure it'll come back to me later. I'm pretty sure it was something that I disagreed with a lot of people about, but I can't be sure.

Poor Wilson, always cleaning up House's messes -- literally and figuratively.

Quick question though ... does anyone make peanut butter in glass jars anymore? I've only seen plastic. Maybe a jelly jar? (Everybody knows peanut butter sandwiches should come with jelly.)

I don't think any of the big national brands do, but the fancy-schmantzy peanut butter my grocery store sells comes in glass jars. (The same line also includes almond, cashew, and soy nut butters.)

Interesting story, kidsnurse. I was expecting Wilson to stay, since that's what usually happens in this kind of story...but you may be right that House would approve of Wilson showing some spine and leaving. I think it would depend on his mood. If he was in "attempt to quantify the friendship through experimentation" mode, it would be a useful data point. If he was in "I'm bored, entertain me," mode, he might be annoyed.

The everday kitchen accident/responsible adult line tickled me, for some reason.

Wilson probably bought the peanut butter...

lol, a four year old about mommy's broken lamp.
that is such a good description their relationship. house breaks stuff and wilson finds out what he did, helping if it's actually major.

house often reminds me of a four-year-old. or an eight-year-old. or a pubescent teen. very rarely does he remind me of... uh... an adult. hee.

You never fail to deliver the classic House and Wilson dynamic that the show has had a significant lack of lately. Loved it. ;)

It's *not* just me then, who thinks the show's changed, and not in a good House/Wilson direction? Phew!
